Demon Altar as a household name
Well, the name Demon Altar is derived from the group of friends I used to hang out with extensively back in NoVa. My friend Marcus is personally responsible for the advent of the greatest word known to man: goatwhip. Marcus talked often of devil worship, murder, mayhem. In other words he fit well in to our rebel uberyuppies without a cause group. From the bowels of cynicism prevalent in a group who's soul activity was playing Warhammer came the subculture social structure that would later lead me to think up the name (which really isn't a stretch if you think about it). But more importantly the slogan that makes the name all worthwhile. Kind of like Hell's Kitchen: where something is always cooking.
